Owning a boutique has been a goal of mine for years. I have always had a passion for fashion. I remember hanging out with friends in high school, zoning out and them asking “what are you thinking about!?” and I would say… “What I’m going to wear tomorrow.” (lol)
I have always loved finding unique pieces to me that not everyone has.. and I love that I can now find them for you, too.

Originally from the midwest, I grew up on a farm in a small town in Indiana called “Frankton." I was the “farmers daughter” that was always a little over dressed for high school. I attended cosmetology school my senior year and started at my first salon at age 18. While I loved doing hair, I always had owning a boutique in the back of my mind.

I met my now husband when I was 20. We moved to Cincinnati together and got married in 2020. We honeymooned in Joshua Tree, California and we both completely fell in love with the desert. I loved everything about it- the weather, music, hiking, food, the Southwest home decor… and of course, the fashion. I fell in love with all of the denim, fringe, boots, hats, and turquoise jewelry. We went back to Joshua Tree 3 times after that and people would say “don’t you want to vaca anywhere else?” and we would be like… nope. Haha.

Fast forward to 2022 we had the opportunity to move to Tucson, AZ. It seemed like a really big jump from leaving the midwest where all of our friends and family were but we kept having something in our mind say “if not now, when?” 6 months later we had sold our house and were packing up an RV to head 2,300 miles west to the desert with all 30 of our house plants and our cat and dog, Freddie & Olive.

After that big jump and having the “if not, when?” mindset I took the leap on my dream and opened up my own online boutique- Coyote Collective Boutique. I love finding pieces that are breathable, earth toned, and can easily be layered- and that’s where “Desert Meets Boho” comes into play. My goal is to always hand pick high quality, unique, affordable pieces for all— and Coyote Collective Boutique to have it’s very own storefront one day.
